A grunt of a mountain with over 5000ft of climbing. I hate this peak in summer - it's relentless, steep and loose until the final aesthetic scrambly ridge. Adam Campell and I decided it would be a good idea to try a winter assault. It's still a steep old grunt but the final corniced ridge was a technical blast, and the descent had a bit of everything - ice, snow, loose rocks, heavy clay and slippery mud. All good fun!
